  6. 1 cup (125g) Custard powder
  7. 1 ¾ cups (218g) All-purpose Flour
  8. Food colouring of choice
  9. Topping of your choice, Candied Red Cherry or Pearl Sugar Drops recommended
  10. Piping tip, Star Nozzle recommended

Steps

  1. Use a whisk or electric mixer to beat butter and icing sugar together until creamy.
  2. Add in and mix egg yolk and vanilla extract.
  3. Add in and mix cornflour, custard powder, and all-purpose flour until batter is combined.
  4. Fold cookie dough into a ball using a spatula.
  5. Split the dough into two, and place one portion into another bowl.
  6. Add a few drops of food colouring to the portioned cookie dough and knead till the colour is evenly spreaded.
  7. Take a ping pong-sized portion from each dough and roll together to form a small log-shaped dough.
  8. Pipe the dough to form a flower shape on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

  5. Add water little by little and mix until a dough forms.
